Cayuga Dog RescueCayuga Dog Rescue is a non-profit, and volunteer-based animal welfare group dedicated to rescuing stray, abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs from the streets of Central New York as well as from high-kill regional shelters in and around the area.

They place rescued dogs into foster homes where they receive the necessary veterinary care as well as emotional, physical, and social rehabilitation before being adopted into permanent and caring homes.

They also provide ongoing consultation and support to foster homes and permanent adopters. Moreover, they promote compassionate dog guardianship though their public education efforts.

As an independent animal rescue group, they are open to generous people who are willing to share their resources for the sake of giving a second chance at life to furry kind. People can donate any amount via PayPal which will be used to fund the medical needs of the dogs under their care. People are also encouraged to provide foster care to a dog so that they may have a temporary sanctuary before they get adopted into their new and loving forever family.
