DFW Rescue MeDFW Rescue Me is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to reduce the number of euthanized animals in Dallas through promoting and advocating spaying/neutering, adoption programs and educating about responsible pet ownership.

This animal rescue group wants to make a difference in the lives of the five to seven million animals that are placed in shelters nationwide yearly as well as the three to four million who are put to sleep simply because they have been abandoned, neglected, and unwanted by their previous families.

They hold adoption events every weekend giving all dogs under their care a chance to meet potential new families that will care for them and provide for all their needs. However for those who are not yet ready for this kind of long term commitment, fostering is also an option. DFW Rescue Me pays for their medical expenses, including their monthly heart worm and flea/tick preventative while the foster parent or family provides the food and all the love and attention they can give.

Interested parties can also help the group through creating fundraising programs or through transporting dogs from one place to another for adoption events or for medical appointments. Those who wish to help can fill out this volunteer form.
