Faith's HopeFaith’s Hope is an animal rescue organization based in Philadelphia that aims to find loving families for homeless dogs and cats, alleviate puppy mills and feral cat colonies, to stop the notion that companion animals are considered merchandise, and allows children to grow up with the love of a pet and learn compassion for all life.

They focus on rescuing special furry friends especially those with medical maladies, were abandoned by their previous owners, and those left to fend for themselves without the aid of human caretakers. They ensure that each rescued animal is nursed back to health, is given ample food, and is socialized so that they will be ready to face family life once a family is found for them.

Additionally, they educate the public about responsible pet ownership. They guide pet owners and teach them how to better care for their companions and how to be committed in being responsible for the life of another living creature.

People who are interested in adopting a dog or cat under their care simply have to contact Faith’s Hope through phone at 215-356-9445 or through email at faithshope@comcast.net. After this, applicants will be interviewed through phone and if a good match is found, they will receive an application for adoption via email. Potential adopters are required to provide a veterinarian reference and two personal references. This will be followed by a home visit to ensure that they can provide a safe home for their chosen friend.
