Texas Pawprints is a non-profit animal welfare advocate group dedicated to rescuing homeless cats and kittens found on the streets as well as from other animal shelters and then re-homing these furry friends into new and loving families.
They take in even special needs kitties including those that are FIV-positive, are black, and are older. These gentle feline friends are typically the first ones to be euthanized by city shelters and therefore need all the care and attention they can get.
Since the group does not have a shelter of their own, all of their rescues are placed in foster homes where each cat or kitten receives the TLC they deserve as they wait for their new forever home. Foster parents are provided with a litter box, bowls, and a supply of food and litter if required.
For those who are interested to adopt a cat from Texas Pawprints, they hold adoption events every Sunday at Petsmart located at 5500 Greenwille Avenue, Dallas and every first and third Saturday of the Month at Petsmart located at 130 Frontage Road, Rockwall.
