corridor rescueCorridor Rescue Inc. is a non-profit animal rescue organization that seeks to “save lives and correct an injustice to animals who have been thrown away and left, often times injured and starving, to fend for themselves in the I/59 and York area of Houston.”

The group takes pride in the following programs and services intended for animals in need:

  • Corridor Cross County Canines Program (4C Program). This is their way of finding new, loving, and appropriate homes to the companion animals placed under their care.
  • Community Animal Relief Efforts @ Services (C.A.R.E.S.). Through this program, they are able to assist low income pet owners in Corridor with their pet’s medical needs and supplies such as collars, ID tags, food, and proper shelter.
  • Corridor Rescue Inc Education Team Teach and Reach Our Children. This program involves educating the public about the importance of animal rescue, proper animal care including spay/neuter, anti-dog fighting curriculum, animal cruelty issues and prevention, safe interaction with animals, and developing humane education projects that teachers can use in classrooms.
  • Project H.E.E.L. (Helping Empower Everyone’s Lives). This is an eight-week intervention program that seeks to promote self-discipline and responsibility; encourage compassion, empathy, companionship, trust, and forgiveness; proper pet care and obedience skills.
