The National Greyhound Adoption Program (NGAP) is a community-based animal welfare advocacy initiative that is dedicated to helping find loving, adoptive homes for former racing greyhounds; providing superior knowledge and support for greyhound adopters and other adoption groups; educating the public and spread awareness about the plight of the greyhound; and providing specialized medical care specifically geared towards the greyhound.
People can help this organization to achieve their goals through giving monetary donations that will be used to fund capital improvements, kennel and clinic supplies, greyhound care, and staffing costs. Moreover, people can also give items like toys, blankets, and treats to help these former racing friends to get accustomed to life in a permanent home.
They are also looking for volunteers who can help in educating the public on greyhound rescue, helping organize and staff events, as well as giving affection to, caring for, and exercising with the dogs under their care.
The NGAP’s office is located at 10901 Dutton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. They can be contacted through phone at 215-331-7918, through fax at 215-331-1947, and through email at email@example.com. For more information, please visit their website at http://www.ngap.org.
