NYC Shiba RescueNYC Shiba Rescue is a non-profit animal welfare group whose mission is to save Shiba Inu and mixed breed dogs from dangerous situations, environments, and shelters. The group seeks loving and permanent homes for the tail-wagging friends under their care so that no canine friends will have to neither live in the streets nor suffer from euthanasia ever again.  Each furry pal under their care is placed in foster homes where they are prepared for adoption.

As part of their work, they also help in educating the public about the proper selection, care, and training of dogs which pave the way for responsible pet ownership.

As a charitable group, they rely on the help of generous members of the community to help as many dogs as possible. Those who wish to donate their time and effort can help with administrative work, email, phone calls, special events, transporting dogs, evaluating dogs, checking references, raising money, and many other tasks. Aside from volunteering, people can also help through making safe credit card donations via PayPal.
