The Philly KittyThe Philly Kitty, Inc. is a non-profit animal welfare group whose mission is to save the lives of Philadelphia’s homeless cats and kittens by providing temporary foster homes, spay and neuter services, and ultimately, permanent forever homes. It works tirelessly to provide shelter, food, medical care, and tender love and care to abandoned, rescued, and orphaned felines friends in the area.

It works in conjunction with the Cinnaminson Animal Hospital, Caring Hands Veterinary Clinic, and their network of foster homes so that they will be able to provide the best care for the companion animals they rescue.

As a charitable group, they also rely in the generosity of the community in order to provide for the needs of the kitties under their care. Interested parties can donate items such as cat food, kitty litter, scratcher toys, cat playpens, litter scoops, and clumping formula. People can also help through making safe credit card donations via PayPal. Proceeds all go to the covering the costs of spay or neuter, vaccinations, shots, food, and supplies of a cat or kitten.

Members of the community can also opt to adopt or foster a cat.

The group can be reached through mail at PO Box 45857, Philadelphia, PA 19149 as well as through email at info@thephillykitty.org. To find out more about this animal rescue group, please visit their website at http://www.thephillykitty.org.
