Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia (CNKP) is a non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving all healthy and treatable companion animals in Philadelphia shelters. They work with the local government, other private organizations, and the public to raise awareness about the No-Kill Model they aim to create which will save thousands of cats, dogs, and small animals that die in shelters in and around the City because of over population.

As an animal welfare organization, volunteers remain the backbone for CNKP. The group is always looking for individuals who can lend a helping hand with socializing animals to assisting with clerical work, event volunteering to clinic assistance, and photography of shelter animals to grant writing for a needed program. CNKP also urges people to help out at the following Philadelphia-based animal shelters: ACCT Philly, Pennsylvania SPCA, and Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).

Since they are a private organization, they receive no State or Federal funding so they rely on the help of generous individuals to continuously support their programs. People can make safe credit card donations via PayPal.
