Sean Casey Animal Rescue (SCAR) is a non-profit organization that takes in confiscated, neglected, injured, ill, unmanageable, or otherwise unwanted animals from private owners, zoos, shelters, and other public organizations in the hopes of giving them a higher quality of life. They care for and rehabilitate their rescued animals until a suitable, loving, and happy home is found for them. Their main focus is on reptiles, amphibians, exotic, and domestic animals.
They rely on donations to keep their operations alive. Kind donors can give newspapers, plastic bags, bleach, dish soap, paper towels, hand soap, hand sanitizer, latex and non-latex gloves, spray bottles, old pillow cases, sheets and towels. These items are used every day and always need to be replenished. For monetary donations, people can send their help through PayPal or through sending them at Sean Casey Animal Rescue, 153 E. 3 St., Brooklyn, NY 11218.
Their shelter is open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and visitors are welcome to drop by. For inquiries, people may call them at 718-436-5163 or email them at email@example.com.
