SpaySA

SpaySA

SpaySA is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to preventing the overpopulation of dogs and cats by providing low/no cost spay and neuter surgeries in San Antonio and Bexar County.

It has been providing low cost spay/neuter services to over 100,000 feline and canine friends since its inception in 1997. They “fix” dogs and cats as young as 8 weeks old or until they reach the weight if 2 lbs. Those who wish to set a spay/neuter appointment can fill out the form found HERE.

They also have the Mobile Ambulatory Surgical Hospital (MASH) that helps underserved neighborhoods to get their pets spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Additionally, SpaySA also opens its doors from 10:00 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for their wellness clinic. Aside from the typical services, they also provide nail trimming, skin scraping, as well as FIV/FeLV Combo test.

SpaySA can be found at  5357 W. Commerce St., San Antonio, Texas 78237—just down the road from Hwy 151 and two blocks north of Old Hwy 90 Street. They are across from the Edgewood Independent School District at the corner of 34th St and West Commerce St. They can be reached through email at receptionist@spaysa.org as well as through phone at (210) 351-7729.
