The Alamo City Pit Bull Rescue and Rehabilitation is a no-kill, non-profit animal welfare group whose mission is to save the lives of abandoned, abused, misused, and unloved Pit Bulls and other bully breed types; find loving homes for those that are homeless; rehabilitate the challenged; provide refuge for the needy; educate the community on Pit Bulls and other bullies; responsible care and handling of these dogs to rid the negative stigma involving Pit Bulls.
People can also volunteer at the group’s fundraising events or help in transporting dogs to and from vet appointments.
Moreover, members of the community can also lend a helping hand through making safe credit card donations via PayPal. These funds will be used to cover the cost of medical care for rescued canine friends.
Interested donors can also give items such as household chemicals, household paper, dog toys, dog food, treats and snacks, house training pads, and dog beds. Other items that can be donated are listed on their wish list.
