Animal Education and Rescue (AEAR) is a foster-based humane society whose mission is bringing people and pets together through education, therapy and rescue. Apart from finding loving forever homes for the companion animals they rescue, the group also has the following programs:
Humane Investigations. Apart from responding to reports of animal abuse and neglect, they also help educate people on proper pet care.
Pet Therapy. The group visits nursing homes, other approved facilities, or homebound individuals to share the healing effects only loving pets can provide to people.
Education. They also provide educational programs to local schools and community centers as a way of teaching youngsters about proper pet care and treatment.
As a non-profit group, they rely on the generosity of the community in order to provide for the needs of the companion animals under their care. People can donate items such as dog pee pee pads, canned dog food, scoopable cat litter, Frontline, Heartgard, elevated dog beds, and more.
Interested parties can also make safe credit card donations via PayPal.
They can be reached through mail at PO Box 7343, Libertyville, IL 60048, through phone at (847) 816-0831, through fax at (847) 816-4746, as well as through email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
