The Animal Medical Center (AMC) is a non-profit veterinary center that has been a national leader in animal care since 1910. It is an academic veterinary hospital promotes the health and well-being of companion animals through advanced treatment, research and education.

Its staff is comprises nearly 100 veterinarians who utilize an interdisciplinary team approach combining expertise in more than 25 key specialties and services.

It provides comprehensive pet care including routine care, emergency services, surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic ultrasound, computerized tomography (CT) and MRI, pacemakers, dialysis, brain and spinal cord surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and radiation therapy.

It also offers education opportunities in the form of internships to animal health technicians and social workers, externships to senior veterinary students, and c continuing education and postgraduate programs to practicing veterinarians.

Moreover, it provides clinical investigation services for companion animals and community outreach outreach.
