Baja Animal Sanctuary is no-kill shelter whose aim is to provide a safe haven for the abused, abandoned and needy animals that enter their gates, to eliminate their suffering, to improve their quality of life, to reduce pet overpopulation by spaying and neutering, and to find them permanent, safe, loving homes.
As an animal rescue group, they provide food, medical care, and love for the rest of their lives. They also have companion pets spayed or neutered when they are old enough or when they have recovered from illness.
As a volunteer-driven group, they rely on helping hands to carry out the tasks needed to accomplish their mission. Interested parties can help at pet adoption events at PETCO and PetSmart, through fostering, through volunteering at the sanctuary, through picking up food and donation, as well as through providing veterinary assistance.
