California Labradors Retrievers & More Rescue

The California Labradors Retrievers & More Rescue is a non-profit animal welfare group whose goal is to find forever homes for abandoned Lab and Lab mixes in California. Its mission is to rescue and repair the spirit of Labradors and Retrievers and unite them with their Forever Families.

The group works with shelters in the surrounding area to save Labs & Lab mixes from being euthanized. Apart from finding new homes for the animals under their care, they also help some of these companion animals become service dogs.

The group recognizes the importance of community participation in achieving their goals. That said, they are open for volunteers who wish to make a difference in the lives of dogs in need. Here are some ways in which interest parties can help:

  • Fostering a Dog
  • Fostering a Litter of Puppies or a Puppy
  • Assisting Families through the Adoption Process
  • Transporting Dogs
  • Handling Dogs at Adoption Events
  • Fundraising and Marketing
  • Web Support
  • Graphic Design
  • Walking Dogs

In addition, people can also donate funds which will be used to cover the costs of catering to the needs of rescued dogs. People can contribute financially here.

They can be found at 5425 Oberlin Drive, Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92121. They can also be reached through phone at 858-273-5386 as well as through email at doginfo@labsandmore.org.
