Chicagoland Dog Rescue

Chicagoland Rescue - CDRChicagoland Dog Rescue is a non-profit and volunteer-based organization that is dedicated to rescuing, socializing, and placing homeless dogs into permanent homes no matter what breed, size, or age they are. They do not have a physical shelter and they house the dogs that they have rescued into foster homes that provide all the love and care that these companion animals need until a suitable home is found for them.

Being an independent animal rescue group, they rely on the support of the community so that they can continue to pursue their mission. Interested individuals can contribute their resources, skills, talents, and abilities through the following ways:

  •  Volunteer one’s time at any of their adoption & fundraiser events
  •  Donate any items from their Wish List
  • Foster a rescued furry friend
  •  Sponsor a dog to help offset the cost of medical bills
  • Purchase CDR merchandise at any of our events
  • Shop with any vendors who donate to CDR
  • Recycle cans, cell phones and ink cartridges
  • Transport rescued dogs from other states and counties
  • Write for their newsletter or create a flyer
