The Delaware Valley Siberian Husky Rescue (DVSHR) is a non-profit organization that benefits Siberian Huskies. They not only assist and rescue Huskies, but they’ve also been established to find homes in a loving environment for neglected, abused or unwanted Siberian Huskies.
DVSHR utilizes and heavily relies on the services of volunteers to assist them in their efforts in a variety of different ways.
The volunteers play a very important role to the overall goal and mission of the organization. Including acting as a foster caregiver, a transporter, an adoption processor, trainers and counselors.
For those interested in adopting one of their wonderfully, trained Huskies, more information is available on the entire adoption process, as well as information that is useful for potential owners to determine whether or not they are a good fit and cut out to be an owner of one of the Huskies. There are several Huskies available for adoption and in need of a loving home.
The DVSHR has already been responsible for placing thousands of Huskies in loving homes thus far and also relies on ongoing donations to assist them with the cost associated with training and overall caregiving.
