The Doberman Rescue of North Texas is a non-profit group dedicated to placing purebred unwanted or abandoned Doberman Pinschers in loving homes. Each dog under their care is checked by a vet, given all shots, tested for heartworms, spayed or neutered, treated for any illnesses or medical problems that are found, and micro-chipped. Without exception, all dogs are spayed or neutered.
The group houses their rescued companion canines at Doberhof, Doberman-only private shelter in Grand Prairie where they can exercise, sunbathe, chase squirrels and rabbits, and do other important doggy activities.
Every day, the runs are cleaned by a volunteer and rinsed with a dog-safe Chlorine solution to kill germs and eliminate smells. The dogs get some one-on-one time, are fed their dinner, and given any medication they need.
