The Old Dog House is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization based in Jacksonville, Florida that caters to the needs of unwanted, neglected, or abandoned senior dogs in the area. They work towards providing a second and sometimes even a third chance to older dogs so that they may be able to live their lives with dignity.
They enlighten the public about the wonders of owning and caring for these elder dogs through their educational programs. This allows them to persuade people to adopt otherwise unwanted dogs who still know how to love unconditionally if given the chance.
Those who wish to adopt an elder dog can fill out a form available on their website. If they pass the screening, they may choose among the many adoptable dogs that are more than happy to have a new, loving, and secure forever home to live in.
As a non-profit, they rely on kindhearted donors to keep their operations running. All amounts are greatly appreciated and 100 percent goes to the expenses needed to care for the companion animals under their care.
The Old Dog House can be contacted through mail at 1650 Margaret Street, Ste 302, PMB #137, Jacksonville, FL 32204-3869.
