Faith’s Animal Rescue

faith's animal rescueFaith’s Animal Rescue is a non-profit, private, and volunteer-driven group dedicated to finding homes for companion animals. They hold events, have adoption centers in multiple PetSmart locations, and care for a large feral colony living on the edge of a business complex.

They have several volunteer programs that allow members of the community to help out in their advocacy. This includes:

  • Fostering pets that are recovering from surgery or illness, moms with puppies/kittens, puppies/kittens that need to gain weight or age for spay/neuter, and furry friends that need socialization or have minor behavioral issues.
  • Helping out at adoption events and fundraisers.
  • Animal care involving feeding, cleaning up, grooming, walking, and socializing companion animals under their care.

People can also help out through donating in-cash through memorials, gifts, and gift certificates via PayPal. People can also give items like blankets, towels, bottles and puppy or kitten formula, dog and cat food (dry and canned), cleaning supplies, litter, and food bowls. These items can be dropped off at PetSmart on 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road at Christown Spectrum Mall during Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 6 pm.
