Fawn’s Family Small Dog Rescue, Inc. is a Florida-based 501c3 non-profit dedicated to rescuing dogs of all kinds from crowded kill shelters. The organization is named for Fawn, a miniature pinscher who was rescued from a puppy mill by the company’s founders. Fawn lost her battle with diabetes at the age of 12, but her family has dedicated their ongoing rescue work to her memory.
All of the stray and abandoned dogs that are placed with foster families until Fawn’s Family Small Dog Rescue can find them permanent homes with loving owners. All dogs rescued receive complete veterinary care and rehabilitation while they are in Fawn’s Family foster program. They are spayed or neutered, brought up to date on all of their shots, dewormed and microchipped. Fawn’s Family is also dedicated to educating the public on the dangers of pet overpopulation and the importance of spaying or neutering pets.
It is the wish of Fawn’s Family Small Dog Rescue, Inc. that every dog that has been abandoned or abused find a safe and loving home. For more information about supporting this organization or becoming a foster family for a small dog, contact Fawn’s Family Small Dog Rescue today.
