The San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition is a non-profit animal rescue organization whose mission is to end the overpopulation of cats in the San Antonio area through public education, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and empowering the community to care for outside cats.
The organization educates the public on the benefits of TNR, protects outside cats from cruelty and ensures that they live in a safe environment, promotes community awareness on spaying/neutering pets, assists colony caretakers in management and feeding, and re-homes friendly strays as a way to get kittens off the streets.
The Feral Cat Coalition has various programs and services that ensure that they reach out to as many cats in the area as possible. This includes TNR classes held four times a month, the Cat Advocacy Program which helps educate the community about how to treat cats humanely, the Trap Loan Program, their Helpline, the SpaySA Subsidy Program which helps cover a portion of the cost of spaying/neutering, and the TNR Buddy System which assigns a partner to people who are new to TNR.
They can be reached through mail at P.O. Box 692308, San Antonio, TX 78269-2308 through phone at 210-877-9067 and through email at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information about this animal welfare organization, please visit their website at http://sanantonioferalcats.org.
