fayetteThe Fayette Humane Society has many adoptable pets available for your “furrever” home. We have many loving cats and dogs that need you. Studies have shown that the act of petting an animal can have a calming effect and help lower blood pressure. Residents of

Fayette can find assistance to care for their pet by visiting the Fayette Humane Society’s website and looking under the Spay/Neuter Assistance tab. This assistance is provided as part of the Society’s mission to end the disposal of unwanted pets through an intensive spay and neuter program and provides this service as funds allow.

Each weekend the Fayette Humane Society hold adoption drives every weekend in Peachtree City, GA at Petsmart. Prospective pet parents can see adoptable pets from noon to 4:00 pm on Saturdays and from noon to 4:30 pm on Sundays.

The Fayette Humane Society is the first non-profit humane society in the county and is a registered 501(c) charity. The staff are all volunteers and are valued contributors who serve selflessly. Because the FHS believes in complete humane treatment of all animals, each of the pets available for adoption is temporarily housed as foster pets. Each pet is vaccinated and spayed or neutered.
