Halo Animal Rescue is an Arizona-based non-profit organization that aims to provide a safe and loving place for homeless pets. They are a no-kill facility that denounces euthanasia. They provide shelter for orphaned, abandoned, or neglected pets that would otherwise perish because of treatable injury, illness, or those who are too scared or too young to go up for adoption at their time of arrival.
The pets that they take under their wing are cared for and rehabilitated until they are ready to be adopted into new, loving, and permanent homes.
They work together with the community to provide temporary homes for adoptable and savable pets and to help them recuperate and turn into the happy furry friends they once were.
They are open to any donations, and as little as $10 can help keep an animal comfortable with a bed and a blanket at their shelter. Other amounts can also help keep the shelter clean, provide assorted toys to the homeless dogs and cats, cover microchipping, repair broken limbs, buy new dog kennels, and cover medical expenses as well as spaying and neutering costs.
HALO Animal Rescue’s headquarters and adoption center is located at 2500 South 27th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85009. They can be contacted through phone at 602-971-9222 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm every day.
