Helping Hands for Little Paws is an animal rescue group that takes in homeless animals and finds them forever homes. They are not an animal shelter, they are a network of foster home volunteers that rescue dogs from shelters and other desperate situations. All pets stay with their fosters until adopted.
Helping Hands for Little Paws (HHLP) began in 1995. Since that time, they have rescued, re-homed and sterilized hundreds of animals in Central Arkansas. Twenty years later, they are still helping homeless dogs in Arkansas. HHLP is a foster-based program, where the dogs in their group live in foster homes until they find their “fur-ever” home. All of their adoptable dogs have been altered, are up to date on shots, are heartworm negative and have been on heartworm, flea and tick preventative.
