Home Fur Good is an Arizona-based animal rescue and placement organization that aims to make a positive difference in the lives of homeless dogs and cats in Maricopa County. As a group of animal-lovers, they want to eliminate euthanasia in the area through providing quality medical care, adoption placements, promotion of spay/neuter procedures and outreach education for pet owners. Through this, they get to give a second chance at having a happy life to the animals that they save from certain death.
As a non-profit organization, they rely on kind donors to set their goals and mission in motion. As little as $100 can already feed and care for a dog or a cat for a month while $150 can cover the cost of a homeless dog or cat to come into the safety of the HFG shelter, get a health examination, and vaccinations.
People can also help through volunteer work. Those who wish to participate can come to the monthly volunteer orientation held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 5:30pm at their shelter.
Home Fur Good is located at 16624 N. 32nd St., Phoenix, AZ 85032. They can be contacted through phone at 602-971-1334 or through email at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information, please visit their website at http://www.homefurgood.org.
