K-9 Angels Rescue is an all-volunteer and non-profit organization committed to rescuing and re-homing dogs regardless of their breed or circumstance. As part of their mission of saving the lives of abandoned, neglected, orphaned, and surrendered dogs in Houston, they educate the public about the effects of irresponsible breeding practices, while helping the community by alleviating overcrowding in area shelters.
The organization strives through the help of generous individuals from the community. Interested parties can donate items such as bath-sized towels to be used in crates, paper towels, hand sanitizer and soap, Pedigree canned wet food, Purina smart blend dry food, and gently used wire crates. People can also donate their time and energy as volunteers and open their homes to offer temporary love and shelter to dogs in need through fostering.
K-9 Angels can be found at 2125 W. Alabama (1st block West of Shepherd), Houston, TX 77098. Their adoption center is open during Saturdays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and during Sundays from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm.
They can be reached through mail at P.O. Box 925022, Houston, TX 77292 as well as through email at email@example.com. For more information about this animal welfare group, please visit their website at http://www.k-9angelsrescue.org.
