Karma Rescue

Karma RescueKarma Rescue is a volunteer-based non-profit organization that caters to the needs of at-risk dogs from high-kill shelters in the Los Angeles Area. They are dedicated to finding safe and suitable permanent homes for all the pets that come their way. Aside from their adoption programs, they also help educate the public on responsible pet ownership as a part of their mission of improving the lives of companion animals in the community.

Their volunteer programs include Foster Care where people provide an initial safe and secure environment for a rescued dog; the Guardian Angel Program that helps promote and stimulates the adoptions of available dogs at Karma Rescue; and the Sponsorship Program where people are encouraged to help cover the cost of housing, vet treatment, training, and supplies.

Since they are a non-profit animal rescue group, they rely on the help of generous people in order to continuously provide for the needs of every rescued dog. People can send donations via mail and support their 10,000 Paw Project, The Cody Fund, The Maxine Goldenson Foundation/The Liping Animal Medical Fund, Project Coco, and the Sid’s Spay/Neuter Program. People can also donate in honor or memory of a loved one.
