Lange Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned pets, and preparing them for a journey to a new, safe, loving world.
It relies on its dedicated volunteers who walk dogs, socialize with cats, and assist with the day to day cleaning, feeding, and maintenance of the kennel. They also donate their time and expertise to assist in other non-animal or kennel specific work.
Apart from volunteers, they also value the foster families that open up their homes to care for animals that are awaiting adoption or are in need of special attention. They have a short-term foster care program for puppies or kittens that are too young to be adopted as well as for pets that need to fully heal from their medical conditions prior to being put up for adoption. They also have a long-term foster care program for those that are too old or too stressed for the kennel environment, are healthy but overlooked due to FIV or other minor medical condition, and have been overlooked at the kennel for a long time.
Lange Foundation can be found at 2106 S. Sepulveda Blvd., West Los Angeles, CA 90025. They are open Mondays to Sundays from 11:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon.
