League of Animal Protectors (LAP) is a non-profit and volunteer-driven organization that aims to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted, abandoned, and orphaned animals in North Texas.
They are a team of dedicated people who have been working with animal rescue groups. They are adept in helping animals recuperate from tragic experiences as well as getting them adopted into new and loving forever homes.
They provide a safe environment, personal attention, medical care, basic training, grooming, and eventual placement in a caring and nurturing family.
LAP has foster homes to house the animals that they take under their wing. Each home goes by special guidelines to be able to provide the care that each pet deserves and as such, they are not overwhelmed with too many rescued animals. These homes are responsible and can nurture pets that are in transition which means that they can produce the best adoptable animals for prospective new families.
They rely on kind-hearted and hardworking individuals to carry out their tasks as an animal rescue group. Volunteers can help at adoption events, lend their special talents— whether it’s dog training, grooming, graphic art, making phone calls, working with computers, and so on.
