If you’re lonely, have a tiny bit of space and in need of a companion, you should check out White Rock Dog. This unique pet shelter rescues dogs and cats found at the White Rock Lake and East Dallas area in Texas. The shelter was started by a couple that purchased a home near the lake and realized a huge number of lost and abandoned pets were showing up at the lake and needed help.
If you need a little buddy to make life complete, why not visit their website to see adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and those with special needs. You can make a difference!
White Rock Dog Adoptions
Pets are available for viewing where you can get to know them at Pet Supplies Plus on Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm at 200 N. Coit, just north of Beltline, Dallas, TX. You can also stop by Daily Dee’s Doggie Den, which is open from 7 am to 7pm at 6444 E Mockingbird Ln in Dallas.
Even if the time isn’t right for adopting, you can help in so many ways. The shelter could really use cash contributions and supplies like adult food and puppy food. Dog treats, harnesses and doggy beds sure would help.
White Rock Dog is also in need of dog walkers and folks with computer experience to keep their website updated. Make a difference and help out!
