Newnan-Coweta Humane Society is a 501(c)3 all volunteer, non-profit organization, dedicated to reducing the number of pets euthanized at Coweta County Animal Control (Newnan, GA) through rescue, spay/neuter, foster programs and community awareness.
Its mission is to provide leadership in the implementation of public policy concerning animal issues, and to participate in the humane management of the area’s increasing animal population. We will also provide educational programs to assist residents in caring for and enjoying their pets and will work to improve public awareness of companion animals’ ability to enhance the quality of life in our community.
The group recognizes the importance of the community in achieving their goals. Volunteers are always needed to help with foster care, adoption day setup, transporting, photography, and dog walking at the shelter. In addition, they’re always looking for help with fundraising, education outreach, special events, grant writing and many other areas.
Apart from volunteering, people can also help through donating via Network for Good.
It can be reached through phone at 770-253-4694 as well as through email at firstname.lastname@example.org. They can also be contracted through mail at P.O. Box 785, Newnan, GA 30264.
