Rescue Labradors in Arizona

Arizona Labrador and Giant Breed RescueArizona Labrador and Giant Breed Rescue

Arizona Labrador and Giant Breed Rescue (ALGBR) is an all volunteer animal rescue organization that specializes in finding homes for Labradors, Great Danes, Mastiffs, Great Pyrenees, Elkhounds, Newfoundlands, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Saint Bernards, Irish Wolfhounds, and Deer Hounds. As part of their mission of rehabilitating and providing interim care to rescued animals, they provide veterinary intervention as well as foster homes for these tail-wagging friends until a new and loving family is found for them.

Aside from taking in pets that are in need, they also actively participate in educating the public about the breeds that they rescue. They participate in both public and private events and reach out not only to school children but to the general public as well.

They rely solely on the help of volunteers to carry out their duties as an animal welfare organization including conducting home visits for potential adopters, transporting pets for vet appointments, providing shelter through fostering, raising funds for the dogs under their care, and conducting adoption events.

ALGBR can be reached through mail at PO. Box 26116, Phoenix, AZ 85068-6116. They can also be contacted through phone at (602) 307-LABS. IN addition, people can send messages to the following email addresses for the concerns listed below:
