Hope for Paws
Hope for Paws is a private, non-profit animal rescue based in Los Angeles whose aim is to save dogs and all other animals who are suffering on the streets and in the shelters. The group fosters these animals in their home, cage free, until a permanent home and loving families are found for them. As part of their commitment to making a difference in the lives of furry friends in the area, they educate people on the importance of companion animals in our society to stop the cycle of animal neglect and abuse.
It was created by Audrey and Eldad Hagar out of the couple’s desire to help animals who suffer and die every year because of negligence and abuse. In the last eight years, they have been fostering hundreds of animals in their homes and have also created a network of rescuers worldwide through their Facebook pages. Hope for Paws envisions a world where no more animals will die from starvation, abuse, and euthanization because of the overcrowding at the shelter.
