Rescuing Cats at KittiCo

KittiCo Cat Rescue is a private rescue group keen on providing new homes for homeless cats. It is comprised of people who are inspired by their passion to provide a better world for all feline friends. In the last ten years, they have already spayed/neutered and provided loving homes for over five thousand cats and have already worked with individuals from 166 cities.

Its mission is “to, with special emphasis on cats cared for by the elderly, disabled, and persons of low income help reduce overpopulation of homeless cats and kittens by providing spay-neuter services for feral and stray cats.”

It also seeks “to educate the public about humane reduction of animal overpopulation through spay-neuter and trap-neuter-return programs”.

The group provides various volunteer opportunities including participating in Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) efforts, rescue/retrieval of animals from animal control, shelters, and/or harmful situations, helping with newsletters, mailings and other forms of correspondence, fundraising, donation pickup, cleaning at the adoption facility, doing paperwork and data entry, and managing feral colonies.

Interested parties can also donate items such as tablet computers, printer ink and toner, plastic of Sherpa type carriers, and towels and sheets.
