SC Humane Society of Greenwood

The Humane Society of Greenwood is a not-for-profit organization committed to the compassionate care and protection of animals. It acts as a safety net for any lost, abandoned, or relinquished companion animal in the area. They hold adoption events to find new families for homeless pets, provides low cost spay/neuter services in order to reduce euthanasia in animal shelters, and conducts community outreach through having presentations in schools and civic organizations, hosting fundraising events, and more.

Community members who wish to help make a difference in the lives of companion animals in need can do so through donating items such as Purina, Special Kitty, or Whiskas Dry Cat Food;  9-Lives or Friskies Canned Cat Food; Pedigree Canned Dog Food; Pedigree, Purina, or Ol’ Roy Dry Puppy Food; Purina or Special Kitty Dry Kitten Food;  dog and cat treats, Indoor/Outdoor Flood Lamps (min. 75W), blankets, sheets, and towels, dog harnesses (all sizes), leashes and collars (all sizes), Cat and dog toys, and many more.
