Spay-Neuter-Inject-Protect of San Antonio (SNIPSA) is a non-profit organization composed of veterinarians that aims to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome adoptable animals from high-kill shelters and from the streets as well. They also encourage responsible pet ownership through providing free spay/neuter services to areas of San Antonio with the greatest need.
They cater to the needs of animals from shelters with heartworm infection, fractures, mange, dental disease, and simple neglect ensuring their health before having them adopted into loving, caring, and happy forever homes. They give the pets under their care a second chance at living a life with a family that could provide their needs.
Moreover, they believe in the value of spaying/neutering pets as an important tool in saving the lives of animals in the community. They provide free and accessible sterilization through the help of dedicated volunteers and veterinarians who tirelessly offer their time, effort, and expertise to reduce overpopulation in the community.
As a non-profit organization, they rely on donations to keep their operations going. People can send in their aid at SNIPSA, Inc., 6338 N. New Braunfels, Box 185, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
