The SPCA of Westchester is a non-profit humane society that enforces laws relating to animal community. It relies solely on the financial support of people who care about furry friends in the area.
The group hosts various programs and services intended to make life better for companion animals including shelter services where pets can stay until a loving adoptive home is found for them. They also provide cruelty investigation and intervention, low-cost veterinary care, and transportation/rescue. Moreover, they also host the Golden Outreach Pet Therapy Program, the SPCA Volunteer Program, and the SPCA of Westchester/My Sister’s Place Pet Safety Program. Moreover, the group also conducts education outreach for children and other members of the community so that they may learn how to treat animals properly.
People are encouraged to help animals in need through making safe credit card donations via PayPal. The following amounts will be used for various purposes including:
- $50 trains one Shelter animal for an outreach program
- $200 spays or neuters four of our animals
- $500 rehabilitates two abused animals
- $1000 feeds all the homeless animals at the Shelter for one week
Part from helping financially, people can also donate household items, pet supplies, office supplies, and specialty items.
Their office is located at 590 North State Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510. They can also be reached through email at firstname.lastname@example.org. To find out more about this group, please visit http://www.spca914.org.
