Stray from the Heart is a non-profit animal welfare group whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and place homeless dogs in suitable forever homes. They cater to the needs of neglected, lost, abused, and abandoned animals through providing necessary veterinary care and shelter to these furry creatures. In addition, the group also train and educate the public regarding the protection and care of animals.
As a volunteer-based organization, it recognizes the invaluable support that they get from generous members of the community who share not only their time but also their resources in order to keep the organization’s advocacy moving forward.
To help, people can donate items such as dog crates, dog food, beds, treats and toys, bowls, leashes and collars, white t-shirts, hats and sweatshirts, photo quality & iron on transfer ink jet printer paper, a computer, a canner, a color copier, and office supplies such as post-its, paper clips, printer paper, rubber bands, pens, and the like.
Moreover, people can also contribute through sponsoring a monthly feed bag for strays from only 66 cents every day, donate in honor of a loved one, shop at iGive, or sponsor an event, project, or a dog. Safe credit card donations can also be made via PayPal.
