United Hope for Animals

United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a non-profit animal welfare organization whose mission is to match shelter pets with loving, permanent homes and rescue placements through effective networking.

Apart from finding permanent homes for abandoned or orphaned animals, UHA also sponsors a monthly free spay/neuter campaign in Ensenada, Mexico. This Spay and Neuter Program allows the organization to reach out to the animals in need all throughout Mexico that are left starving, confined, or tied in back yards or worse, crushed under the wheels of traffic.

People who also wish to make a difference in the lives of furry kind can do so through volunteering. UHA is always in need of people who can fill in the following positions:

  • Dog Handlers—great for people who love spending time with dogs.
  • Photographers—they will be responsible for taking glamour shots of dogs which will be shown to potential adopters.
  • Videographers—great for people who are good with telling stories through video.
  • Pet Profile Writers—they will be responsible for putting together dazzling descriptions of each rescued dog which will be used for online profiles.
  • Adoption Coordinators—they will be in charge of matching adopters with the perfect dog.

Aside from volunteering, people can help UHA through donating in cash. To contribute, please visit this LINK.
