Weimaraner Rescue of Texas

Weimaraner Rescue of North Texas, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of Weimaraners from animal shelters, found stray, abandoned, neglected and abused. They educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and promote spay/neuter. They are dedicated to end the tragedy of pet over-population by opposing puppy mills, pet stores selling live animals, and irresponsible over-breeding of companion animals.

Interested parties who wish to help out in their cause can do so by donating via PayPal. Apart from donating, people can also volunteer by adopting the adorable pets in need under the group’s care. They can also open their homes and stand as a foster family for canine friends who are awaiting adoption. Those who wish to volunteer can find out more info here.

The group is currently being supported by Freedom Furniture & Design, Barney’s Dog Ranch, Valley View Pet Health Center, Artist Liz van der Werf, Hula Hound Pet Designs, and A-One Engraving.

They can be found at 4347 W. Northwest Hwy, Suite 130, Box 184, Dallas, TX 75220. They can be reached through voicemail at 972.994.3572 as well as through email at bark@weimrescuetexas.org.
