white riverWhite River Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit rescue organization. Their mission is to save dogs and puppies from high kill shelters, treat all known medical issues, foster and evaluate, and then place in a forever home. Please note: THEY DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL SHELTER. Their animals are housed with fosters. They are all volunteers, not paid employees, so if they do not respond right away try to understand.

They decide if they are able to help a dog. Next, they assess the medical, nutritional, and psychological needs. Next, remove the dog from impending danger to safety. (In fact, not that simple.) 92% of the dogs they rescue have between 30 minutes and 24 hours to live.

White River Animal Rescue distinguishes itself by its ethics related to dogs’ well-being and by its exhaustive efforts to rescue dogs from euthanasia, sickness, and mistreatment.
